The Conservation Fund is an American land trust that works in all 50 states to create solutions that make environmental and economic sense. Since 1985, we have worked with our government agency, non-profit and private partners to protect more than 7.5 million acres of land across the United States. Through our Land Conservation Loans program, we provide financing and technical assistance to our non-profit partners around the United States and in Canada to accelerate the pace of conservation in their operating regions. We are proud to have partnered with Nature Conservancy Canada, Ducks Unlimited Canada and the Kensington Conservancy to save some of Canada’s special places.
Forests Ontario’s mission is to foster a healthier future by enhancing forest cover across the province. Every year, Forests Ontario works with more than 85 planting partners to plant nearly 3 million trees on public and private lands. Forests Ontario’s biggest planting program is the 50 Million Tree Program, which provides funding and practical assistance to landowners who wish to plant trees on their property. Forests Ontario and our partners have supported the planning of more than 20 million trees across Ontario to date. In addition to planting, the program also supports landowners in effectively managing their forests.
