Christmas Bird Count for Kids (rare Charitable Research Reserve)

The Christmas Bird Count for Kids (CBC4Kids) is a fun winter birdwatching event based on the traditional Christmas Bird Count. Participants build bird identification and monitoring skills while contributing to real Citizen Science! The goal is to promote nature appreciation, ecological literacy, and environmental stewardship in the next generation of naturalists.

Bird Studies Canada has been the proud Canadian partner in the Christmas Bird Counts for Kids program since 2010.

The rare Charitable Research Reserve in partnership with Waterloo Region Nature Kids is hosting a Christmas Bird Count for Kids on Saturday, January 7. This is a family event, where parents learn alongside their kids.
