Dr. Gard W. Otis, professor at the University of Guelph, will talk about how dramatically the world of pollinators has changed as farming practices have changed. Record low numbers of monarch butterflies and honeybee deaths have been regular stories in recent years. Gard will explore the difficult conditions faced by monarchs and honeybees in Ontario and beyond.
