The OLTA Climate Action Working Group is a new collaboration between land trusts and researchers working together to develop a program to help land trusts adapt to a changing climate. OLTA hosted a webinar with presentations by Dr. Michael Drescher and Stephanie Barr.
Michael Drescher is a professor at the University of Waterloo. He presented at the 2017 OLTA Gathering. Stephanie Barr is a PhD candidate at the University of Waterloo. She worked with Parks Canada this summer on the development of a climate change adaptation catalogue.
Presentations cover their research associated with climate change and how it relates to land conservation and the land trust community
