Thank you for your support for our national advocacy campaign with the Alliance of Canadian Land Trusts! The campaign draws attention to the critical role that local and regional land trusts play in conservation efforts in Canada, and calls on the federal government to extend the NHCP – LTCF beyond 2026, rename and redesign it into a Southern Landscapes Fund with an investment of $25 million per year for five years, and create a $150 million endowment fund to strengthen the capacity of local and regional land trusts to care for natural spaces in perpetuity.
