Ecological Gifts Workshop – Rideau Valley, Manotick

This in-person workshop about the Ecological Gifts Program (EGP) is offered to land trust members and associates. This workshop will be delivered by Laura Kucey, the Ontario Ecological Gifts Program Coordinator, Environment and Climate Change Canada.  

The EGP has certified donations that protect of over 252,000 hectares of ecologically sensitive land across Canada and is a fundamental tool for private land conservation in Canada. This workshop will focus on recipient responsibilities and provide an opportunity for land trust and conservation authority staff to learn about how the program works, discuss program requirements and donation scenarios, and ask questions directly to the EGP regional coordinator. 

We are offering this workshop in three different locations in southern Ontario.
