Leave a Gift in Your Will

Join the OLTA Legacy Circle to make a lasting impact on the conservation of Ontario’s natural heritage.

There are benefits of creating a gift in your will:

By making a gift in your Will, you’re not just leaving a legacy; you’re planting seeds for future forests, preserving wetlands, and ensuring the protection of diverse ecosystems for generations to come.

Impact Beyond a Lifetime

The gift you plan today becomes a powerful force for nature's tomorrow.

Financial Wisdom

Integrating charitable giving into your estate planning will reduce your estate taxes with a charitable tax receipt for your gift.

Family Involvement

Share your vision with loved ones, making your commitment to conservation a part of your shared legacy.

Flexibility

You choose what’s best for you and your family. You can choose a specific amount or a percentage of your estate, and you can change your will at any time.

How to make a gift in your will:

I direct my Estate Trustee to pay the Ontario Land Trust Alliance (OLTA), P.O. 02.

Create a will that reflects your values, beliefs, and wishes. If you wish to designate your gift to be used for a specific project, program or use, please add the following...
“If at the time of the acceptance of the gift, the desired allocation of the funds is no longer practical or feasible, the Ontario Land Trust Alliance Board of Directors is hereby authorized to identify alternative use that best reflects the spirit and intent of the gift.”
